Director of Services (Client Supports) 35hrs(ref: MDN/DOS/21/01)
The new post is offered on a 12-month full-time contract basis, subject to the continuing availability of funding and the capacity of the company to continue to win funding contracts, grant agreements, and service level agreements . The post will have direct responsibility for the management and operations of three client support programmes: MEND, Male Advice Line and Counselling.
Reporting to the CEO the Director of Services will become a critical part of the senior management team and support the implementation of the organisations 5-year strategic plan. They will have a vast knowledge of the thearputic environment with over five years practice experience. The should also have considerable experience in delivering domestic violence intervention programmes and possess strong supervision abilities in both clinical and operational settings.

The post will have direct responsibility for the management and operations of our training and development programmes including our Health, Engage, and Development Programmes and White Ribbon Campaign.
Reporting to the CEO the Director of Services will become a critical part of the senior management team and support the implementation of the organisations 5-year strategic plan. They will have a vast knowledge of the community and voluntary sector. An understanding of community development practice and its application in a national context. They should be a strong communicator with a clear understanding of men’s development work and an ability to design, deliver and implement new projects.

Counsellor (Male Advise Line) 35 hrs. (ref: MDN/MAL/21/03)
Men’s Development Network’s (MDN)Male Advice Line is a confidential and professional service providing telephone counselling, support, advice and referral for people who may have been a male victim of domestic abuse funded by Tusla
The role of the Counsellor is to deliver counselling services for the Men’s Development Network (MDN) Male Advice Line and to ensure the smooth running of same. The counsellor will report directly to the Helpline Supervisor of MDN. Flexibility in terms of working hours is a requirement of this post
Applicants must be fully qualified Counsellors, Psychotherapists or Counselling Psychologists. Although training will be given to successful candidates, experience working with those who have been victims of domestic abuse and helpline experience is also desirable.
Due to the specialised nature of this work, it is imperative for all applicants to show evidence of their personal therapy work. Group supervision and case management is provided onsite and it is necessary that the successful candidates attend their own supervision.

Programme Support Officer 35 hrs (ref: MDN/Adm/21/04)
The Project Support Officer will be supporting the staff in a number of programmes The candidate should have a mature, non-judgmental, confident and caring manner. The ability to interact well with people from a wide range of backgrounds, together with good problem solving, project/time management and very good communication skills.

The Men’s Development Network is currently recruiting for:
Part-time contracted Facilitators for the MEND Programmes in Waterford (female) and South Tipperary (male) as part of mixed gender facilitation teams [applicants should ideally be located near Waterford City or Clonmel].
Qualification: We are looking for people, in these 2 locations, who have a counselling qualification or equivalent and experience facilitating groups would be of benefit.
Training will initially be online on Tuesday evenings along with Shadowing and, when appropriate, face-to-face training will be provided.
