Our Counselling Programme aims to support men affected by, but not restricted to marginalisation and relationship issues which are generally focused around conflict and loss.
These circumstances can be linked to mental health issues such as depression and anxiety amongst other issues which include anger, violence, trauma, and health issues.
This programme also helps people who may be suffering from issues brought on through isolation or being members of marginalised communities including asylum seekers, unemployment, disability, LGBTI and lack of support/resources.
This service also benefits and supports the users in areas such as family, relationships, social circumstances, work, socialisation, conditioning and feelings.
It provides a support system for parents who experience difficulties. And by providing positive, early interventions and transformational goals, this service can help provide a better outcome for children, keeping them safe and protected from harm.
Improving family supports which are key in improving outcomes for children.
We offer online counselling. This limited availability of 8 free sessions “is proving to be very helpful to callers to regain stability and reassurance in their life situation,” says Derek Smith, Counselling co-ordinator.
